Environment Agency publishes waste sector plan

The Environment Agency has today published its sector plan for the waste management industry.

Developed in close partnership with ESA, the Plan sets out how the Agency and industry will work together to ensure that waste is managed in ways that protect human health and the environment. The plan recognises that the waste management industry is a net improver of environmental quality, and sets out measures to tackle environmental criminals who undermine the work of ESA's Members.
