ESA Members’ website updated
New resources are now available to ESA members who login to the Members’ section of ESA’s website with agendas and a summary of minutes from each working group meeting now being posted on the website in the committee pages. These pages also provide a list of the committees, together with specific details of the aims, membership and ESA contact for each working group.
The Parliamentary Briefing section of the Members’ website has also been updated recently, with links to, and briefings on, current legislation passing through Parliament (the Climate Change Bill; the Planning Bill and the Energy Bill). This section also includes a link to the ESA’s weekly ‘Political Resources’ parliamentary bulletin, which provides a summary of the previous week’s relevant political activities (including written questions and debates) from the UK Parliament in Hansard, together with details of any debates which are expected to take place in the coming week ahead. This bulletin also includes similar material of past and forthcoming debates from the devolved administrations (Scottish Parliament, Welsh and Northern Ireland Assemblies, and London Assembly). The website also outlines how this bulletin can be received each week by email.
The Members’ section additionally includes the weekly policy bulletin produced by ESA’s Policy Unit, with other issue briefings and position statements. It provides a list of ongoing Government consultations to which ESA intends to respond and details of how members can influence this process.
Members who do not yet have a user id and password and would like to access this part of the website are invited to obtain these by completing details on the online form at Members’ login. In case of difficulty with registering or login, please contact ESA.
