ESA developing National Skills Academy proposal

ESA has started developing a potential bid with EU Skills to establish a national skills academy (NSA) by identifying the sector’s potential skills gaps over the medium to long term which a national skills academy could address.

Skills academies have already been developed in other industries, such as the power sector, and anticipate sectors’ future skills requirements. An NSA would also help to deliver qualifications supporting career paths in the sector and make the sector more attractive to potential employees.
