ESA/CIWM Training Programme 2006
Training is a crucial element in achieving our vision of an economically and environmentally sustainable waste management industry for the UK. It will become even more important as the national waste strategies are implemented.
In order to provide even better value for the industry we are pleased to announce a partnership approach with the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM). We have consolidated the training provision and all the industry's training will now be done jointly by ESA and CIWM and administered by CIWM.
ESA, through its Member representation and ESA Secretariat, will be involved in the formulating course content, to reflect the particular needs of ESA Members. The 2006 training programme is a joint venture between the two bodies and ESA members will receive discounts on courses - if they are also CIWM members, a further discount will apply.
