Environmental Permitting Programme : Developing the Standard Permit

Standard permits are being developed for a number of waste management facilities, including: MBT, composting, MRF’s, waste transfer stations, mobile plant for land remediation, healthcare waste treatment/transfer, metal recycling and WEEE treatment/transfer.
ESA, the Environment Agency, the Welsh Assembly Government and DEFRA are pleased to hold a seminar which will provide an opportunity for you to help develop “Standard Permits” and associated “General Binding Rules” which are being introduced under the Environmental Permitting Programme (EPP).
