The industry and its working practices are evolving and changing faster than ever and it is essential that the operators continue to protect human health and safeguard the environment. This event focused on how the sector's occupational health and safety standards are rising in a context of demands for ever higher levels of recycling and recovery. The seminar also examined the importance of integrating health and safety into waste management operations and processes, including local authority waste management contracts.
