ESA's Policy Team and Member-represented committee structure ensures that ESA can always rise to the challenges of delivering a sustainable resource and waste management sector, be that through engagement with key stakeholders, engagement with members or disseminating key information and guidance to members.
They are constantly reviewing current guidance and creating updated sectorspecific guidance in line with regulations provided by the relevant industry and devolved administrations and regulators.

ESA is also working with WISH (Waste Industry Safety and Health) and SWITCH (Scottish Waste Industry Training, Competency, Health & Safety) on helping to improve health and safety performance right across the sector.
Our H&S Working Groups work closely with WISH. SWITCH and HSE to ensure that the sector is constantly at the forefront of protecting their employees.
